TajikistanToday.com(English),The Tajik Education Minister announced that a large number of Tajik scholarship students are currently studying in various Russian universities.
Nuriddin Sayed stated this in a news conference in Dushanbe, and noted that Tajikistan has nearly 24,000 scholars at Russian universities and the demand to enter Russian Universities is increasing.
According to the Tajik Ministry of Education, educational programs at the Russian and Tajik academic centers are very close and there is no contradiction between these programs.
Nour Al-Din Seyed added: Russia is also a major partner of Dushanbe in the education sector, and the bilateral citizen agreement provides access for Tajik nationals in Russia and vice versa.
According to Nour Al-Din Seyed, the construction of 5 new schools with a capacity of 1,200 students in each one of them in the republic of Tajikistan is planned by the russian government, and the Russian side has pledged to begin construction of these schools by the end of this year.
